Terms of Service

These terms govern use of rockridge.ai and the customer support services, dashboard, and authorized integrations provided by Rockridge Research, Inc. ("Rockridge"). If you use Rockridge for a business, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that business. A separate signed agreement with Rockridge controls if it conflicts with these terms.

1. Rockridge services

Rockridge provides customer support operations, workflow software, and related services for authorized businesses. Features may include receiving and organizing customer communications, displaying conversation history, preparing response drafts, sending operator-approved replies, managing authorized social comments, reporting, and related operational support.

Service scope, pricing, service levels, and any customer-specific commitments are governed by the applicable order form, proposal, or other written agreement.

2. Accounts and authorization

You must provide accurate information, protect account credentials, and promptly tell Rockridge about suspected unauthorized access. You may connect only accounts, channels, data, and business assets that you own or are authorized to manage. You authorize Rockridge to access and process those assets only as needed to provide the requested services.

You remain responsible for the instructions you give Rockridge, the accuracy and legality of customer-facing information you provide, and your own notices, policies, products, orders, refunds, and business obligations.

3. Instagram and other third-party platforms

A business may connect an Instagram professional account through Meta's official Instagram API. Rockridge may then receive customer-initiated messages and comments, display them to authorized operators, send operator-approved message replies, and let authorized operators manage or reply to comments. Rockridge does not use that integration for unsolicited outreach, following, liking, posting, or unrelated account activity.

Third-party services such as Meta and Instagram operate independently and may change, restrict, suspend, or discontinue their platforms or APIs. Your use of those services remains subject to their terms and policies. Rockridge is not responsible for a third party's platform decisions, outages, or account enforcement, but Rockridge may pause an integration when needed for security, compliance, or account safety.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use Rockridge to violate law or third-party rights; send spam, harassment, deceptive messages, or unauthorized outreach; scrape or monitor accounts without authorization; evade platform controls or rate limits; distribute malware; compromise another account; or interfere with the service. You may not ask Rockridge operators or systems to obtain passwords, payment card details, government identifiers, protected health information, or other sensitive information unless a written agreement expressly authorizes an appropriate workflow.

5. Human control and automation

Rockridge may use software and AI-assisted tools to classify requests, assemble context, and prepare suggested responses. Unless a customer expressly authorizes a different documented workflow, customer-facing social replies are reviewed and approved by an authorized human operator before they are sent. Customers are responsible for choosing their authorized users and for approving any broader automation settings.

6. Data and privacy

Rockridge's Privacy Policy explains how Rockridge processes information, including information received through authorized customer support integrations, and how to request access or deletion. Each customer is responsible for providing any privacy notices and obtaining any permissions required for its own business and customer relationships.

7. Intellectual property and feedback

Rockridge and its licensors retain rights in the service, software, designs, and documentation. Customers retain rights in their brands, content, and customer data. Each party grants the other only the limited rights needed to perform the applicable services. If you voluntarily provide product feedback, Rockridge may use it without restriction or obligation.

8. Availability, changes, and suspension

Rockridge may update the service and these terms as features, laws, security needs, or platform requirements change. Rockridge may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect users, connected accounts, Rockridge, or third parties; respond to legal or platform requirements; prevent misuse; or address overdue amounts under an applicable agreement. Material changes to these terms will be posted here with an updated effective date.

9. Disclaimers and responsibility

Except for commitments in a separate written agreement, the services are provided on an "as available" basis. Rockridge does not promise uninterrupted operation or that every third-party message, comment, or event will be delivered by an external platform. To the extent permitted by law, Rockridge is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, or data. Any additional warranty, indemnity, or liability terms in a signed agreement control for that customer.

10. Ending use

You may stop using the public website at any time. Authorized businesses can disconnect supported integrations or contact Rockridge to end service, subject to any separate agreement. Rockridge may terminate access for material violations of these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, and limits of liability, will survive.
