Meet Rockridge

The team behind your customer support

Illustrative San Francisco office with people working and talking around MacBooks at oak tables

We set out to give ecommerce teams their time back while giving their customers the care they deserve. From everyday questions to cases that need a person, we handle the work in your voice, follow your policies, and see it through, so your team can focus on building the business.

257%ROI in the first two weeks.

Measured in retained order value, net of fees and cost of goods sold.

For a seven-figure supplement brand, we recovered orders at risk of refunds, cleared the inherited support backlog, and took ownership of ongoing escalations.

How we work

  1. Some conversations require careful oversight to ensure a quality outcome. Our team of U.S.-based specialists steps in whenever our AI agents detect cases that automation alone can't answer.

  2. We give your team a hands-off experience, with no need to check for customer or logistical follow-ups. When a decision is yours to make, we bring you the facts and a recommendation, then carry out what you decide.

  3. Every exception we resolve refines the rules. Cases that needed a specialist last month can become automated the next. Each conversation brings us closer to support that needs less day-to-day involvement from your team.

  4. We read your policies, your past conversations, and the reasoning behind decisions you've already made. That's what our specialists and our workflows run on, ensuring replies sound authentic to your brand’s voice.

Meet the Founders

Joshua Schiller, co-founder of Rockridge

Joshua Schiller

Co-founder · Oakland, California

Joshua knows customer support from both sides: building the automation and handling the tickets himself.

He previously worked as an AI engineer at 14.AI, a Y Combinator startup. His work there combined customer service automation with hands-on ticket handling. There, he developed a deep understanding of how customer support is run and how to build systems that handle the complexities of e-commerce.

Before 14.AI, he studied business and computer science at UC Berkeley and worked in roles ranging from wealth management at Morgan Stanley to software engineering at Relativity Space.

In his free time, you can find him completing New York Times puzzles or following the Warriors.
