Rockridge Reddit Integration Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 2, 2026
This policy explains how Rockridge processes Reddit-related data for the Rockridge Reddit Devvit app and related support dashboard workflow. The integration is intended for owned or explicitly authorized Reddit support surfaces, not broad Reddit monitoring.
1. Data the integration may process
Depending on how the integration is configured, Rockridge may process:
- Reddit post, comment, or Modmail text that is sent to an authorized support surface.
- Reddit usernames, display names, author ids, subreddit ids, post ids, comment ids, Modmail conversation ids, timestamps, permalinks, and similar metadata needed to route and respond to support items.
- Raw Devvit event payloads and normalized support-event records used for debugging, deduplication, audit trails, and support workflow reliability.
- Operator drafts, approved replies, delivery status, failure reasons, and audit records for Reddit support responses.
- Limited technical data such as logs, request timestamps, and security tokens needed to operate and protect the integration.
The integration does not ask for Reddit passwords, does not collect Reddit login credentials, and is not designed to collect private Reddit activity outside authorized communities, Modmail, posts, comments, or support surfaces.
2. How Rockridge uses the data
- To route Reddit support items into the Rockridge support dashboard.
- To classify, prioritize, and summarize support threads.
- To draft, review, approve, post, and audit support replies.
- To prevent duplicate handling, diagnose errors, secure the integration, and comply with platform requirements.
- To produce customer-support insights for the Rockridge customer that authorized the Reddit support workflow.
Rockridge does not sell Reddit user data. Rockridge does not use Reddit content processed by this integration to train general-purpose AI models.
3. Sharing and service providers
Rockridge may share or process Reddit-related support data with service providers that host, secure, store, analyze, or help operate the Rockridge support dashboard and related infrastructure. If AI-assisted drafting or classification is enabled, relevant support content may be processed by an AI service provider for that limited operational purpose.
Rockridge may also share support-thread information with the Rockridge customer, community, moderator team, or account owner that authorized the support workflow, and may disclose information when required for security, legal compliance, or platform enforcement.
4. Storage and retention
Reddit-related support records may be stored in Rockridge systems for as long as needed to provide support, maintain audit trails, troubleshoot delivery, comply with legal or platform obligations, and preserve customer-support history for the authorized Rockridge customer.
If a Rockridge customer disconnects or ends the Reddit support workflow, Rockridge may retain limited records where needed for security, audit, compliance, dispute resolution, or backup integrity, unless deletion is required by applicable law or contract.
5. Security
Rockridge uses access controls, secret-based authentication, production deployment controls, and operational logging to protect the integration. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, but the integration is designed to process only the Reddit support data needed for the authorized support workflow.
6. Reddit and third-party platforms
Reddit controls Reddit's platform, accounts, communities, and policy enforcement. Reddit's own terms and privacy policy continue to apply to Reddit users and Reddit content. Rockridge is responsible only for the Rockridge systems and workflows described in this policy.
7. Choices and requests
If you have questions or requests about Reddit-related data processed by Rockridge, contact hello@rockridge.ai. Please include enough context for Rockridge to identify the relevant support workflow, such as the subreddit, post/comment link, Modmail thread, or Rockridge customer involved. Rockridge may need to coordinate with the customer or community that authorized the support workflow.
8. Changes
Rockridge may update this policy as the Reddit integration, Rockridge services, Reddit requirements, or applicable laws change. The effective date above shows when this version became effective.
For private account, order, or support details, avoid posting sensitive information in public Reddit threads. Use the private support path directed by the relevant brand, community, or Rockridge operator.
